Executive MBA program at TIAS
The English-taught Executive MBA at TIAS combines a sound academic program with a uniquely integrated leadership program. The program promotes integrated and critical thinking, so you can make a difference for yourself, your organization and the world around you. The program is designed to deepen your knowledge base, increase your business acumen, and develop your leadership qualities. The combination of academic concepts and practical tools offered in varied assignments and working methods encourages you to think differently and embeds what you have learned. This allows you to put your newly acquired knowledge to good use and make an impact immediately, rather than waiting until after graduation.
Flexibility
The modular structure of EMBA offers participants the opportunity to complete the program at an accelerated pace or take a break if necessary. Participants can also graduate at their own pace as they get to decide when to start their Capstone Projects. For more information, please contact your Program Adviser.
BizzTrek Rwanda
This four-day exploration of the business environment in Rwanda is an essential part of the program. Through maximum immersion in the local (business) environment, you get to discover the many ways that business and society are intertwined and interact. This journey is invaluable. Stepping into a different context expands your mind and touches your heart. It’s an unforgettable experience.
Leadership in the EMBA
Leadership is an integral part of the Executive MBA. TIAS’ unique approach combines workshops geared towards developing skills, deep awareness, experiential learning and peer-to-peer coaching. The fixed peer-to-peer coaching groups meet five times throughout the EMBA and are supervised by a coach. This allows you to achieve optimum personal growth. Our coaches will supervise you in developing and honing your core competencies and working towards your personal goals. In this way, the Executive MBA creates an environment for both professional and personal growth.
Structure of the Executive MBA
TIAS’ Executive MBA comprises four themed stages that together provide a comprehensive view of business administration from both an operational and strategic perspective. Each stage concludes with a Live Performance Challenge Weekend, where you will put your knowledge to the test in a real client case. You conclude the EMBA with a Capstone Project.
