‘’I think the combination of business and society is quite powerful.’’

‘’What I was looking for and what I found in the program: professors who do not get the theory from a book, but who bring experienced knowledge that you can apply directly in your own practice. My scope has broadened, which is noticeable in my daily work. I ask different questions, I am more inquisitive.’’

''TIAS is committed to new leadership. At TIAS things are more personal and smaller-scale. They dedicate a lot of time and effort to learning from one another, with plenty of interaction during and outside of classes. And to stewardship; doing what’s most beneficial to society. How do you deal with power structures? How do you treat your colleagues? What’s your approach to the environment and society? That requires new leadership. They’re really committed to that at TIAS.''

Future-proof yourself with the Executive Master of Business Administration

Changes come fast. To anticipate them, organizations must become quicker and more agile. So they need capable leaders with keen judgment, a clear vision and insight into every aspect of the business. Leaders who can weigh and navigate the interests of multiple stakeholders in their decision-making, who are aware of the critical importance of building coalitions in leading change, and who have the confidence to lead others through periods of uncertainty. This enables them to strengthen the impact of their organization. The TIAS Executive MBA trains precisely this kind of leader.

English-taught EMBA program: leadership and transition

In the Executive MBA, you develop a sound understanding of business. You improve your technical and management skills and reinforce both your professional competencies and your personal skills. Expand your horizons and your awareness by applying your new skills, knowledge, and insights to real-world cases. Intensive attention to personal development and leadership qualities further strengthens your resolve, credibility and self-confidence. This enables you to become the leader you want to be and generate impact for your own future, your organization and the world it operates in.

How will the Executive MBA benefit you?

  • You get a complete picture by gaining deeper knowledge and insights into your own field and broader knowledge of other fields, including through exchanges with your fellow participants.
  • Combine all of your new skills, knowledge, and insights in different areas by applying them to real-world cases during Live Performance Challenge weekends.
  • You grow both personally and professionally thanks to the intensive leadership program.
  • In the trip to Rwanda, you see with your own eyes what it’s like to do business under completely different conditions and work with Rwandan business owners.
  • You’re able to drive change within your organization: business and society is fully integrated in the curriculum rather than a stand-alone module.
  • You enjoy a major boost in self-confidence and freedom from doubts about your own abilities.
  • You gain insight into your own drives, leadership styles and strengths and weaknesses, and discover the future you want to create for yourself and how to create it.
  • You’ll get a chance to expand your network. The unique modular structure allows you to both create a deep bond with your own cohort and connect with participants in other cohorts.

The combination of academic concepts and practical tools offered in varied assignments and working methods encourages you to think differently and embeds what you have learned. This allows you to put your newly acquired knowledge to good use and make an impact immediately, rather than waiting until after graduation.

Flexibility

Leadership in the EMBA

Leadership is an integral part of the Executive MBA. TIAS’ unique approach combines workshops geared towards developing skills, deep awareness, experiential learning and peer-to-peer coaching. Our coaches will supervise you in developing and honing your core competencies and working towards your personal goals. In this way, the Executive MBA creates an environment for both professional and personal growth.
