As Associate Professor at TIAS School for Business and Society, Roemer designs and delivers leadership development workshops for corporate clients, helping their senior leaders get the best out of themselves and their teams. He has worked with clients such as Royal IHC, DLL, Randstad, Marel, Antea Group, and Royal HaskoningDHV. Since 2021 he has also taken on the role of Academic Director for the Executive MBA program.
His persistent interest in the human side of organizational life has resulted in a breadth of relevant leadership topics, such as leadership paradoxes, teams and collaboration, persuasion, change, employee engagement, and the leader as coach. An underlying theme in his work is the identification and assessment of underlying mental models that may impede performance.
Roemer is a passionate speaker, instructor, and ICF certified coach. He has lived both in the US and in the Netherlands. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from VU Amsterdam, and a Doctorate in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University.
