The effect of a good innovation strategy in healthcare: From limited impact of innovation to making an impact through innovation
The healthcare industry is experiencing a severe staffing shortage. As the aging population is causing demand to rise, the health workforce is shrinking because too many workers are leaving the field. How can we lighten their work load while still keeping healthcare services accessible, affordable and of high quality, including for increasing numbers of patients with multimorbidity? The Integral Care Agreement (Integraal ZorgAkkoord, IZA) aims to provide a solution by improving collaboration between healthcare providers. For this to work, effective innovation and digitization strategies are essential.
The Advanced Program for Digital Innovation in Healthcare teaches you how to structure innovation effectively, what digital leadership involves and how to achieve behavioral change. Together with our subject matter experts, you explore major innovations in healthcare and their appropriate implementation for your own organization. You learn how to make the right choices quickly. Others’ successes and best practices serve as inspiration. The knowledge and skills you gain increase your organization’s resilience and help you scale up innovation through partnerships.
