Biography

Suzanne is a Strategic Innovation Advisor at Buro Strakz and assists organizations across the healthcare sector with digital leadership, digital skills, digitization, healthcare technology/e-Health, and change management.

Since 1998, her passion has been in healthcare, and her goal is to guide employees through all developments in the best possible way. She is trained in education, management, the psychology of change management, strategic innovation management, behavioral influence, and completed the creative thinking trainer course.

As a speaker, she regularly gives lectures and masterclasses and is the author of various books. Her latest book is ‘A Hint of Blue and a Splash of Pink’, which explores how to make the implementation of digital tools and healthcare technology more enjoyable and effective. She also writes for the magazine ICT & Health.

To better support employees, she developed a self-assessment and approach based on research, focusing on ‘the 4 types of technology users.’ She also developed the website www.digivaardigindezorg.nl, which offers free learning tools to enhance employees' digital skills, along with a large multi-year program to embed these skills within organizations. As a program manager, she has been responsible for all content related to this national healthcare program since 2019.

Suzanne also conducted research on digital leadership in long-term care and nursing (VV&T) on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) and has trained many leaders across the sector on this topic.
