Board & Governance

'Learning about boardroom dynamics is key'

By Mijntje Lückerath | February 28, 2024 | 1 min read
"It's often said, 'Where was the moral compass?' But as a commissioner, you're dealing with various stakeholders, conflicting interests, and sometimes conflicting moral standards."
"The key is learning how to balance those conflicting interests, how to navigate with people from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and personalities towards effective decision-making and long-term value creation. Learning to recognize and deal with those boardroom dynamics, that is what we focus on in the programs at TIAS."
