More than 200 supervisory board members and monitors from (stock listed) companies, care institutions, housing corporations and other organizations also participated in the annual National Supervisory Board Member Survey this year.

As a result the survey provides an effective cross section of the profile and vision of supervisory board members and monitors in a broad context. The 2011 survey focuses specifically on assessing the supervisory board. Questions were based, for example, on the way in which the supervisory board assesses itself, how often an assessment is performed, whether external experts are involved and the topics included in the assessment. In addition the supervisory board members were asked to actually assess the operation of various aspects of the supervisory board.
