NSE 2023: participants give TIAS high marks

According to the 2023 Nationale Studenten Enquête NSE (National Student Survey), TIAS School for Business and Society is once again highly rated by its own participants. The total score came to 4.25 out of 5.
In addition, TIAS scored well above the benchmarks in all of the main survey categories. Respondents even rated the lecturers’ subject knowledge a 4.56.
TIAS earned its highest marks in the survey categories ‘lecturer quality’ and ‘involvement by TIAS’.
NOTABLE RESULTS

• Relevance of content to current developments: 4.32
• Relevance to professional practice: 4.37
• Program atmosphere: 4.50
• Subject-matter knowledge of lecturers: 4.56

NSE RESPONSE LINKED TO UAF DONATION
To encourage participation in the annual National Student Survey, TIAS offered to donate to the UAF based on survey participation. The
UAF is a foundation that supports refugee students and professionals with their studies and with finding suitable work on the Dutch labor market. (https://www.uaf.nl/en/about-us/).
NATIONAL STUDENT SURVEY
The National Student Survey was published on 31 May 2023. The NSE is a large-scale annual national study that invites higher education students to give their opinions on their education. The NSE survey by the Studiekeuze123 Foundation is an independent partnership between the Ministry of Education, Culture & Science, students and academia.
