TIAS partner and chair sponsor Van Spaendonck has introduced the SME Jobs Monitor (MKB Banenmonitor). The monitor, based on a large amount of salary data, provides a unique insight into the development of employment within SMEs. Prof. Dr. Ferry Koster (chair of Innovative Collaboration) has been closely involved in analyzing the data from the monitor.

The website of the Van Spaendonck SME Jobs Monitor publishes quarterly updates and overviews by region and by sector. The first analysis of SME Jobs Monitor endorses the positive views recently expressed by Statistics Netherlands. The data show that employment in SMEs has grown by 2 percent in the first half of 2015. The growth is the highest in the western part of the Netherlands (2.4%).
