TIAS is proud to share that two TIAS-related stories have been awarded a 2019 Flourish Prize for Global Goals: #7: Affordable and Clean Energy and #9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
The Goal #7 story is written by last year’s Full-time MBA student Dibyendu Adhikari, describing the business innovation of Rural park: Sparking Entrepreneurship Through Clean and Affordable Energy.
The Goal #9 story is written by last year’s Full-time MBA student Bright Simons, describing the business innovation of Green Afro-Palms: Holding the Future in our Palms.
Their stories were selected from the 809 stories published on the AIM2Flourish platform in 2018 and belong among the 17 best stories exemplifying how business is a positive force for good and demonstrating progress towards the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals).
AIM2Flourish is a United Nations-supported global learning initiative where students use Appreciative Inquiry and the 17 Global Goals as a lens to discover and celebrate untold stories about business innovations for good. Since last year, our FT MBA students participate as part of their course ‘Leading Business through Global Change’.
