Divide supervision and advice in Supervisory Board

Monitors must divide monitoring and advise equally. The main focus is currently on the monitoring role. This is according to Mijntje Lückerath-Rovers, professor of Corporate Governance at TIAS School for Business and Society.

Lückerath presented her account during the Skipr event on 18 December 2013. She distinguished between four roles for monitors: that of monitor, advisor, employer and networker. The last two are important but demand less time.
