Expat accommodation in Brainport Eindhoven Region

January 29, 2014 | 1 min read

Brainport must make it easier for knowledge workers to find a studio, flat or house if it wishes to continue attracting them. That is one of the conclusions Janneke Koeleman made in her study on the accommodation of expats in Brainport.

"It is an absolute vital that Brainport grows. Expats are now facing numerous problems during the process of searching for the first home", says Janneke Koeleman in the Eindhovens Dagblad newspaper. Another conclusion of the study is to create a transparent and cooperative regional search platform for rental homes. In her study, Koeleman also recommends increasing the accessibility of the Brainport region by improving the provision of information in English.

Janneke Koeleman graduated on 29 January 2014 from the Master's program 'Real Estate Management and Development' within the Department of the Built Environment at Eindhoven University of Technology. She carried out her final project at TIAS School for Business and Society. Her supervisor for this study is Ingrid Janssen.
