TIAS has come sixth in the Corporate Knights 2017 Better World MBA ranking, the highest position ever. Corporate Knights is a Canadian business magazine focused on sustainability, and in the past was awarded Magazine of the Year by Canada's National Magazine Awards Foundation.
Corporate Knights assessed the business schools on three criteria: to what extent is sustainability woven into the curriculum, with which relevant organizations did the school work and the faculty's research.
'This is the highest position that we have ever attained in this sustainability ranking. That underwrites the fact that we are on the right path to being the business school for business and society,' says Kees Koedijk, Director and Dean of TIAS.
Global MBA Ranking data
Since 2003, Corporate Knights assesses how MBA programs – with the Financial Times ranking as the basis – have included sustainability in their curriculum.
'This has allowed Corporate Knights to judge which of the top MBA programs in the world are prioritizing sustainability by supporting core curriculum choices, dedicated institutes and centers, and relevant faculty research,' according to the Canadian magazine on its website.
