The Innovation & Transformation Master Class gives you insights into the “what”, “why” and “how” of innovation. We delve into innovation strategy: what does it consist of? And why should you innovate, as an organization? We also look at practical application: how will you organize the innovation? This includes ample attention to dispelling resistance in the organization, as well as tools for successful implementation.

Day 1: What is innovation?
We start with the basics: what innovation is, and also what it is not. This knowledge lets you work towards your own innovation strategy.
Day 2: Innovation strategy
On day 2, you learn how to develop an innovation strategy, and how to set up innovation in your organization. We show you five basic questions you can use to arrive at a sound innovation strategy.
Day 3: Human-centered
You have an innovation strategy – now it’s time to get your organization on board. At the end of the day, it’s all about the people: they’re the ones doing the work. On day 3, you learn how to tweak your organization to get all employees on board with innovation, to ensure success.

Day 1: Creating public value
Day 1 provides insights into societal transformations. You discover why many public sector innovation projects fail, and learn how to use innovation to create public value.
Day 2: Cutting red tape
Day 2 is about cutting red tape in the public sector. Rules and mindsets are often so ingrained in our day-to-day work that they pose an obstacle to innovation. You learn what is needed to enable innovation.
Day 3: Fundamental changes in value
On the third day, you learn how to spark an actual societal transformation. You discover how to change deep-seated rules, structures and social norms in a non-profit organization.
