Dr. Morris Oosterling

Dr. Morris Oosterling

Lecturer

Biography

Within his own company, Aizen, Morris combines his previous experiences as a policy researcher, policy advisor, controller, and team leader, offering advice and coaching in the areas of leadership, team development, and strategy development. The motto is: standing still to move forward. This refers to the space and time created for reflection on work practices. It is precisely this room for reflection that is crucial for viewing complex issues from multiple perspectives, truly diving into them, and devising effective interventions to address the issue. Or to assess how collaboration is progressing. Aizen Science in Business helps organizations make a positive contribution to the world of today and tomorrow.

Morris is an associate at TIAS School for Business and Society. Here, he is responsible as a core lecturer for the leadership module within the Master of Public Management (MPM), delivers lectures on Academic Reading and Writing (premaster) and Research Methods (EMITA), and supervises students from the MPM, Master of Management in Education (MME), and MScBA (Master of Science in Business Administration) in conducting research and writing their thesis at the end of their studies.

Prior to this, Morris worked as a policy researcher, was responsible for operations as a team leader, and earned his PhD at TIAS with research on the selection of executives in non-profit organizations.
