Forty young doctors broadened their view of the care in hospitals at a four day TIAS-MBE Summer Academy course held in late August. TIAS School for Business and Society and Medical Business Education (MBE) provided the participants with basic knowledge of the aspects that play a vital role in the proper functioning of a healthcare organization.
"I now understand more clearly the interests of the various players. At the end of the day, everyone does want the quality of patient care to improve," one of the participants said afterwards.
The Summer Academy TIAS organized this course in partnership with healthcare-related companies, such as BDO, Dirkzwager, Roche, and Toshiba. TIAS and MBE thus bring businesses and young doctors together for a qualitative exchange of knowledge.
