Freek Lapré wins another prize for his research
During the International Research Conference on Quality, Innovation, and Knowledge Management in Indonesia, Freek Lapré, academic director of the Executive Master of Health Administration at TIAS School for Business and Society and co-author Gillian Wright received the prize for the best paper. Lapré and Wright conducted research into the quality of service in seven nursing homes. This study had already been distinguished at an international congress in Turkey in October 2013.
It revealed that nursing home residents and their families considered completely different matters to be important and decisive for quality than those currently measured by all kinds of certification systems.
Since 2013, Lapré has been Academic Director of the Executive Master in Health Administration (MHA) at Tias Nimbas Business School. He is also a partner at Movinex BV, a consultancy focusing on strategy, innovation and organizational development and a member of the Board of Directors of the European Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (EAHSA) in Brussels.
