About this TIAS Elevate Session
"There is a certain dynamic." That’s often as far as we get. We sense that something is disrupting collaboration and our relationship with employees, but pinpointing the exact issue is difficult. And if we can’t identify it, addressing it becomes even harder.
In this session,
dr. Hans van Dijk breaks down nine common dynamics that often disrupt teamwork. By giving these dynamics a name—such as the Blame Game, Delusion of Distrust, and Bias Towards Action—Hans helps you recognize and overcome destructive patterns.
Once we identify these destructive dynamics, the next question is almost always: What can I do to break them? But this question holds a hidden trap—breaking a dynamic is not just about doing, it’s also about being. For example, we can act friendly while feeling frustrated, but that’s unlikely to have the desired effect. Before we can decide on the right action, we first need to reflect on our own state of mind.
In the second part of this session,
dr. Roemer Visser explains why your mental and emotional state is crucial, how to recognize and influence it, and how to create the conditions for constructive dynamics.
After these insights, we’ll dive into an interactive session where you can share experiences and learn from each other.
We’ll conclude the evening with a light dinner and plenty of time for further discussion.
