Sanne Nijs is assistant professor at Tilburg University within the Department of Human Resource Studies. She received her PhD from the KU Leuven (Belgium). She teaches and coordinates the courses 'talent management' and 'critical perspectives on the future of work', and is the chair of the educational committee of the Human Resource Studies program within Tilburg University. She also teaches at TIAS on the topic talent management.
Her research focuses on talent management, inclusive HRM and careers. She has presented her work at several leading conferences (e.g. Academy of Management, Egos). Her research has been published in international academic journals (e.g. Human Resource Management Journal; Journal of Vocational Behavior) as well as in more popular outlets (e.g. Het Parool), and has also received several grants. On a regular basis, she provides sessions for practitioners where she builds on her experience as a career coach.
