Biography

Jeen de Spa (1966) is an executive coach and consultant specializing in leadership development and change management. He facilitates international MD programs, training sessions, workshops, and masterclasses on these topics.

In 2002, he left Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and the ICT sector to continue his role as a management consultant with his own firm. Until 2016, he served as an associate-MD at De Baak and was a project management instructor at TSM Business School. Leveraging a vast network of professionals, his consultancy provides large-scale interventions, development programs, workshops, and training sessions. Together with his wife Simone, he runs a practice for individual coaching, counseling, and psychotherapy in the center of Amersfoort.

Since 2015, Jeen has been a lecturer in Leadership Development at TIAS School for Business and Society, including in the Executive MBA and MScBA programs. He is a faculty member for various in-company programs on leadership and conducts masterclasses on Harvard Negotiations, Trusted Advisory, and Corporate Cultures.

As a speaker in Leadership Development, he combines two perspectives: transformational leadership and the organization as a learning system. His approach emphasizes deep dialogue based on direct and personal experience. His clients include top and sub-top executives from organizations such as Xerox Unamics, ABN AMRO Bank, Holland Casino, Rabobank International, Fluke International, Heijmans, Mastermate, Robert Bosch BV, Nutreco, Atradius, as well as various non-profit organizations in healthcare, municipal governments, and charities.

Jeen's approach is characterized by his empathy, humor, directness, and numerous examples from his own experience in leadership and change management. In addition to his studies in Business Informatics (AMBI), he continued to develop himself alongside work with studies in Communication, Developmental Psychology, and training in Family Constellations, Organizational Constellations, Transactional Analysis, NLP Practitioner, Rational Emotive Therapy, and various change management programs.
