Biography

Ieke le Blanc graduated cum laude in Econometrics and Operations Research at Tilburg University, where he also obtained a PhD in Quantitative Logistics. In his time as an academic researcher, he focused on the application of quantitative models for designing circular supply chains. His work resulted in several publications in leading scientific journals.

After obtaining his PhD, Ieke moved to industry working for TNT Express and Philips in various supply chain improvement roles. He specialized in Lean Six Sigma first as Black Belt and later as Master Black Belt responsible for major improvements program.

Since 2012 Ieke le Blanc has worked as a senior consultant for EyeOn, a supply chain planning & forecasting consultancy company, where he is leading the industry team for chemical-, food ingredients- and packaging industry. He is an expert in demand planning, inventory management and supply chain (re)design.

Next to his role as consultant, Ieke is a program director at JADS University (Jheronimus Academy of Data Science) responsible for the track ‘data science in industry’ as part of professional education. At JADS he delivers courses on forecasting and inventory management and is mentoring students with their graduation projects. Since 2022, Ieke also lectures at TIAS Business School.
