Biography


Cornelie has been working as an executive coach and consultant at AppleTree Executive Coaching (www.myappletree.nl) since 2007. Before Cornelie moved full-time into coaching and consulting, she held management and executive positions at, among others, ELLE magazine, Arthur D. Little, insurance companies Interpolis and Achmea. In 2007 she quit her job to study photography (documentary and portrait) at the Photo Academy, from which she graduated in 2010. Around the same time, she started her own consulting and executive coaching business for business schools, individual clients, groups and teams. In her work as a coach, she integrates her business experience with her academic and psychological background and helps her clients with their organisational and leadership challenges.

Cornelie is specialised in themes around leadership, change and (personal) development in large and/or complex organisations. She draws on her broad (international) experience in working with leaders, executives and professionals. She combines her coaching expertise and business background to help leaders achieve professional and personal success and effectiveness. Her style is committed, empathetic, associative and result-oriented.
Her clients include the Erasmus Medical Center, TIAS Business School, Princess Máxima Center, Radboud University Medical Center, University Medical Center Utrecht, Karolinska University Hospital (Stockholm), ATKearney, De Heus, Royal Reesink, Brabantia, Univé, Fontys Hogescholen.

Cornelie holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. In 2010 she graduated in documentary and portrait photography at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam. She has a diploma in clinical organisational psychology (cum laude) and an Executive Master's Degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from INSEAD in Fontainebleau.
