During my secondary education my interest in technology grew, particularly for computers and their security. At that point I started to teach myself how to program. After secondary school I went to Inholland University of Applied Sciences to study Information Technology, where I earned the Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology degree. For my graduation I researched which method (static, dynamic or manual analysis) yields the best results when searching for cryptographic flaws in open source content management system plug-ins. After I graduated, I started my career as an information security advisor at the same company where I graduated, Securify. At Securify I review our customers’ applications and infrastructure for security flaws.
