GMI Ratings provides research and ratings on environmental, social, governance and accounting-related risks affecting the performance of nearly 5,500 public companies worldwide, by incorporating 120 ESG “KeyMetrics”. The company also provides Accounting and Governance Ratings for approximately 18,000 public companies worldwide. Ric Marshall is responsible for GMI Ratings’ product design and development. He is also co-inventor of Brightline, a computer-based modeling program that simulates and statistically analyzes the effects of specific types of corporate behavior on long-term investment value. He has been involved in corporate governance research since 1996.
