The Center for Sustainability Studies was created in 2003 by Fundação Getulio Vargas and is the latest partner of FSinsight. It provides multidisciplinary research and educational programs in the field of sustainability. Its goal is to provide answers that help economic agents understand, measure and evaluate risks and opportunities associated with non-financial impact areas such as the environment, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance. The Center’s specific areas of expertise in the field of sustainability development include for example: equity; social justice; ecological balance; and economic efficiency. The research center is governed by the São Paulo Business Administration School of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-EAESP).
Kees Koedijk: “We are very pleased to announce that Fundação Getulio Vargas has joined FSinsight in our quest to develop a global community that tackles topical issues at the interface of finance and sustainability. Their outstanding research capabilities in the field of sustainability development combined with their excellent reputation makes FGV a perfect match for FSinsight. We look forward to closely cooperate with our Brazilian partner in shaping and disseminating innovative ideas and exciting developments in this field.”
