TIAS MBA students on list for international Prize

By Mirjam Minderman | February 27, 2019 | 1 min read

As part of their course 'Leading Business through Global Changes' our Full-time MBA students participated in AIM2Flourish: an international, UN supported platform for sharing stories about business innovations that create value for both business and society. The students needed to undertake an appreciative inquiry-driven interview with a business leader and then describe how the company concerned contributes to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals in a way that is financially profitable as well.

15 of these stories were published on AIM2Flourish and now 6 of them are among the 76 Finalists for the 2019 Flourish Prizes. The Finalists were selected from the more than 800 stories that were published in 2018, spanning the globe and showcasing business innovations for each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The 2019 Flourish Prizes Finalists include 76 stories from 30 universities in 16 countries under the guidance of 35 professors. The businesses profiled come from 27 countries and more than 19 industries. In the second half of March the 17 Flourish Prize Honorees will be announced (one for each Sustainable Development Goal).
