TIAS in Top 20 of European Business Schools

April 24, 2014 | 1 min read

TIAS School for Business and Society is one of the highest climbers in the annual Financial Times ranking of best European Business Schools. Out of 80 business schools in Europe, TIAS is ranked 20th in Europe and second in the Netherlands.

TIAS Business School is the only Dutch business school to occupy a higher position on the list compared with its ranking last year.

The Financial Times ranks the European Business Schools based on various programs offered by the business schools: Executive MBA, Global MBA, Master of Science and Executive Education (open programs and customized programs). The overall European Business Schools ranking itself is based on indexed scores behind the individual rankings. It is not a simple aggregate of the ranking positions.

Kees Koedijk, Dean & Director of TIAS: “Many years already, TIAS is a top European and world player. We’re very proud of that. At TIAS, we believe in business with a purpose. The international environment we provide incorporates both broad social focus and a strong academic education. After studying at TIAS our alumni can make a difference to both business and society. Our international and divers alumni-network is proof of that.”

Each year, the British Financial Times publishes a variety of rankings for educational programs - for example the Best European Business Schools - that are offered by business schools. Many participants use the Financial Times ranking as a benchmark when choosing a business school and many of them base their choice for a certain school, in part, on this list.
