Co-operation in real estate

Successful cooperation in real estate requires more than being a skillful client. There is much to be won in the field of professional contracting. Real estate organisations would do well to formulate a vision on their own role as client and translate this into a strategy. 

In addition to the growing need for professionalization of the client role, the 'softer' values of co-operation are gaining importance. A solid base of trust between parties is just as important as clear KPI's for managing performance when working together. There is no blueprint for good co-operation. Every new real estate challenge demands a clear decision on which form of co-operation to chose. 

This was the conclusion of the TIAS-symposium "Co-operation in real estate' on 29th October 2014. This event for alumni and participants of the Executive Master of Real Estate (MRE) was organized to celebrate the program's fifteenth anniversary.
