Biografie

Prof. dr. P. Kenis is hoogleraar Public Governance aan de Universiteit van Tilburg en Adjunct Professor aan de Vienna University of Economics and Business. Eerder was hij Academic Dean aan de Antwerp Management School, TIAS School for Business and Society en was hij voorzitter van het departement Organisatiewetenschappen aan de Universiteit van Tilburg. Daarvoor werkte hij aan de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, de Universiteit van Konstanz en het European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research in Wenen. Hij promoveerde in 1989 aan het Europees Universitair Instituut in Firenze. Hij heeft ruime ervaring met sociaal-wetenschappelijk onderzoek op het gebied van organisaties, inter- en intra-organisationele relaties en beleidsnetwerken. Zijn onderzoek is momenteel gericht op de effectiviteit van netwerken. Hij heeft een groot aantal academische publicaties op zijn naam staan en heeft ook een groot aantal studies op dat gebied uitgevoerd.
