Na het afronden van een bedrijfseconomische master en een onderwijsfunctie aan de Universiteit Maastricht is dr. Maarten Jennen gestart met zijn promotieonderzoek aan de Rotterdam School of Management. Hij werkte tijdens dit onderzoek gedurende 6 maanden aan de Nationale Universiteit van Singapore. In 2008 heeft Maarten zijn dissertatie over "office market dynamics" afgerond en ging hij werken voor de Europese onderzoeksteam van de grote vastgoed vermogensbeheerder ING Real Estate. Maarten Jennen is nu Senior Director Private Real Estate bij PGGM Investments en combineert dit met een positie als Associate Professor Real Estate Investments bij TIAS. Hij blijft zijn interessante en praktische onderzoek voortzetten en hij maakt deel uit van de onderwijsstaf van het Advanced Real Estate Program van TIAS.
