Introduction

Digital transformation requires more than individual projects or new technology. Without a clear digital strategy and a coherent architecture, silos emerge: overlapping systems, fragmented data, and initiatives that hinder each other.

In the Digital Strategy and Architecture Master Module, you will learn to translate a digital vision into a coherent enterprise architecture: from capabilities and processes to data, applications, and ecosystems. You will work with frameworks and practical cases, analyze your own context, and develop concrete guidelines to reduce complexity while maintaining space for innovation.

Participant profile

For professionals responsible for shaping and translating digital strategy into organizational, process, and technological solutions.

You recognize the challenges of digital transformation: polished strategy documents, but also fragmented initiatives, overlapping systems, and debates about data ownership. You're seeking to understand the connections between digital vision, architecture, governance, and portfolio, and want to be able to explain which choices make sense and which don't.

You want a solid conceptual framework and practical language to engage with management, business, and IT: about digital core competencies, ecosystems, and platform models, and about enterprise architecture as the strategic backbone of the organization. You're also looking for concrete tools to combat fragmentation in your organization and use architecture as a tool for agility and innovation.

About this program

Mastering complexity, enabling innovation

In the Digital Strategy and Architecture Master Module, you will delve into the strategic connections between digital vision, organization, and architecture. You will explore how digital strategy translates into design choices that guide processes, systems, data, and ecosystems, at both user organizations and technology and software vendors.

You will work with business and enterprise architecture, consider capabilities, platform, and data-driven models, and see how architecture bridges strategy and execution. Using frameworks and practical case studies from CIOs, CTOs, and architects, you will analyze where fragmentation arises, how governance and ecosystems play a role, and identify patterns, success factors, and pitfalls. This way, you will develop concrete tools for using architecture as a strategic backbone for sustainable digital development in your own context.

Your learning journey in brief
