Financial Times Research with Impact Ranking
The British newspaper Financial Times publishes the Business School Research with Impact Ranking to provide insight into the relevance and influence of business school research beyond academia.
The ranking examines how research contributes to professional practice from different perspectives. In the Practitioner category, in which TIAS ranks second worldwide, business schools are assessed based on their publications in international practitioner-oriented journals aimed at professionals and decision-makers. The assessment considers factors including the number of publications, publications per faculty member, and academic citations of these articles.
Connecting scientific knowledge with practice
TIAS' strong position in the Financial Times ranking highlights the importance of connecting science with practice, an approach that is also central to our education. Current academic insights form the foundation of our programs and are directly linked to real-world challenges. Through a broad portfolio of MBAs, Master's programs, Advanced Programs, and masterclasses, TIAS challenges professionals to question existing assumptions, discover new perspectives, and apply insights within their own organizations. In doing so, they learn not only to see and think differently, but also to act differently. This empowers them to make a meaningful difference within their teams, organizations, and society.
