Admission

Our Premaster lays the foundation for a successful start to your Executive Master’s program. Before starting the master’s program, you will take (parts of) the Premaster, depending on your prior education:

  • Professional bachelor’s degree (HBO): Completing the Premaster grants you access to our Executive Master’s programs.
  • Professional master’s degree (HBO) or academic bachelor’s degree (WO): The Academic Director of the Premaster will assess whether you need to complete (parts of) the Premaster.
  • Academic master’s degree (WO): If you hold an academic MSc, you are not required to follow the Premaster. However, you may choose to take (modules from) the Premaster to refresh your academic knowledge. For all other academic master’s degrees, we will provide tailored advice on which modules to follow to help you succeed in your studies.

Important Notes

  • Have you been admitted to the full-time Master in Management (MScBA)? A separate preparatory program applies in that case.
  • This premaster is designed exclusively as preparation for a TIAS Executive Master’s program. It is not accredited and does not grant access to master’s programs at other universities.

Would you like to know what applies to your situation? Don’t hesitate to contact your Program Adviser for personalized guidance.

Enrolment in the Dutch (blended) or English (online) Premaster

If you are enrolling in a Dutch-taught master’s program and are required to complete a Premaster, you will normally follow the Dutch blended Premaster, which includes both online and in-person sessions. With approval from the Academic Director, you may also choose to take one or more modules from the English online Premaster — for example, if you are unable to attend the on-campus sessions for a specific module or if you are already highly familiar with the topic.

If you are enrolling in an English-taught master’s program, the English online Premaster is mandatory.

Below you can find an overview by program:

Dutch-taught masters (blended Premaster):

  • Executive Master of Health Administration (MHA)

  • Executive Master of IT Auditing (EMITA)

  • Executive Master of Management and Organization (MMO)

  • Executive Master of Management in Education (MME)

  • Executive Master of Marketing and Customer Management (MMCM)

  • Executive Master of Public and Non-Profit Management (MPM)

  • Executive Master of Real Estate (MRE)
