Introduction
Organizations are almost constantly changing: strategies are refined, processes digitized, teams reorganized. At the same time, the environment in which this takes place is becoming increasingly fast-paced, uncertain, and complex. Traditional approaches to change quickly fall short: plans are overtaken by reality, resistance grows, and projects deliver less than hoped for. In the Change Management master's module, you will explore what effective and people-oriented change really requires in such a context.
You will learn to analyze change from both the “hard” side- strategy, structure, processes, data, and technology - and the “soft” side of behavior, culture, emotions, and power. You will delve into the psychological impact of digitization and AI on work and professional autonomy, and explore the role of leadership, communication, and security in sustainable change. With your own change assignment as the common thread, you will move from separate change projects to an integrated, learning approach to change that creates movement without losing sight of the human dimension.
Participant profile
For professionals who shape, manage, or guide change and who want to strengthen their change management skills in a digital, rapidly changing, and uncertain environment.
You work in an organization where changes follow each other in rapid succession: digital transformations, new systems, reorganization of teams or processes. You see how complex it becomes when strategy, structure, and technology converge with behavior, emotions, power, and culture. Traditional approaches to change no longer always provide sufficient guidance; resistance, difficult collaboration, or doubts about the role of data and AI make processes sluggish or unpredictable.
You are looking for an integrated perspective on change, in which the hard and soft sides of the organization come together. You want to be able to diagnose more accurately what is really going on, deal better with tension and resistance, and know which interventions are appropriate for your context. At the same time, you want to strengthen your leadership: give meaning, create security, and organize movement in an environment in which digitization and AI are increasingly present. In this master's module, you will work on your own change assignment and translate insights directly into your practice.

About this program
Effective and people-oriented change in a rapidly changing and uncertain environment
Change is no longer a one-off project, but a continuous part of how organizations work. Strategies are refined, processes are renewed, and teams are reorganized, while digitization, data, and AI increasingly influence daily work. This creates opportunities, but also pressure, uncertainty, and sometimes considerable tension within teams and between departments. In this Change Management Master Module, you will delve into what effective and people-oriented change requires in such a rapidly changing and uncertain environment.
You will examine how structure, processes, behavior, mindset, culture, and digital capabilities influence each other in the success or failure of change. You will be introduced to classic and modern trends in change management and explore how digital transformation and data-driven management affect roles, responsibilities, and power relations. The human side is central to this: motivation and resistance, trust and psychological safety, and the extra tension that arises when algorithms and dashboards play a role in decisions and work processes.
You will constantly connect these insights to your own practice. You will bring a concrete change assignment with you, learn to look more closely at patterns and forces at play, and practice choosing and substantiating appropriate change strategies and interventions. You will also explore what AI-enabled leadership can mean in your context: leading in a way that provides direction and clarity, uses technology as a lever, and safeguards the human dimension. In this way, you will develop into a change agent who not only designs change, but also helps to realize and embed it in everyday work.
Your learning journey in brief
In six weeks, you will complete a compact learning journey – from the online start to the final assignment. The exact mix of working methods varies per master's module, but you can generally expect the following:

In-depth study between meetings – Between contact moments, you will continue to work independently with literature and assignments and apply insights to your own case.
Assessment of your own practice – You will complete the master module with an assessed assignment that directly relates to your work environment and learning objectives.
