How can you ensure your organization remains resilient amid constant changes and uncertainties in the global market? The program Strengthening Organizational Resilience “EMBA Standard” helps you develop a global, systemic perspective on the business environment. This program challenges you to see your familiar landscape through a new lens, enabling you to identify emerging opportunities and threats that others might overlook and respond proactively.
The highlight of this program is the unique business trip to Rwanda, where you will be immersed in the country's business climate as a consultant to local entrepreneurs.
By participating in this program, you will go through one of the four tracks of TIAS's leading EMBA program. You will learn, discuss and collaborate with participants taking the full Executive MBA.

You are ready to view your familiar business environment through a new lens, and want to learn how to recognize opportunities and risks more effectively and earlier than others. You have solid work experience and are 1-2 levels below your organization's C-suite in your current position.

The content of the program fully corresponds to the program component of the TIAS's leading Executive MBA. In other words, with this program, you bring your global business awareness to the Executive EMBA level without having to take the complete Executive MBA program.

About this program
The program spans five months, including four intensive lecture weekends (3 days each) and a 5-day business trip to Rwanda.
During the college weekends, the following themes take center stage:
Microeconomics - Understanding Market Mechanisms for Strategic Decision Making
You will develop a keen microeconomic perspective so you can recognize patterns early on. This enables you to respond strategically to opportunities, and manage risks.
Macroeconomics - Strategies for Sustainable Success in a Dynamic World
You will learn to better understand, and strategically anticipate, the major macroeconomic forces that shape markets and industries.
Doing Business in a Complex World - Navigating a VUCA Environment
Diving deeper into Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity (VUCA) systems develops your ability to strategically deal with complex dynamics and seize opportunities.
Doing Business in Emerging Markets - Opportunities in Emerging Economies
You will delve into the unique context of emerging markets. This will enable you to proactively anticipate new competition and identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Leadership Workshops
During the lecture weekends, you will attend two workshops that will help you effectively translate the insights from the lectures to your organization. Good leadership will ensure that what you learn does not remain abstract, but actually makes an impact in practice.

5-day business trip to Rwanda
You will conclude this program with a business trip to Rwanda. This is an exploration of how organizations operate in emerging markets. In Kigali, you will meet Rwandan entrepreneurs who will help you move forward with your acquired knowledge and expertise. Thanks to maximum immersion in a totally different world, this business trip will be forever ingrained in your fibers.
Time investment and certificate
'The program has a lead time of 5 months, in which you participate in 4 lecture weekends of 3 days and a business trip of 5 days. The course load is 16-18 hours per week.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of attendance. This may eventually count toward an Executive MBA degree, if you complete all 4 EMBA tracks and complete your final project (Capstone).
