Introduction
According to an analysis by the World Economic Forum (WEF), AI literacy is one of the most important strategic skills of the coming decade and is increasingly determining the innovative capacity and economic standing of organizations and countries.
In practice, we still see the same pattern at many organizations: they are experimenting with various AI tools with mixed results. As a result, risks related to privacy, bias, and hallucinations remain under the radar. Additionally, the fragmented AI tooling landscape makes it challenging to achieve the desired organization-wide AI adoption.
In the Business AI Skills program (TIAS & JADS), you’ll learn as a professional or manager to apply AI practically in your work: from better prompts and research with chatbots, through concrete tools and data analysis, to multimodal content (presentations/visuals) and the next step: agentic AI and low-code automation. The program is hands-on: brief explanations, plenty of demos, and assignments that you can immediately translate to your own context and apply in your daily practice.
Participant profile
For professionals with associate’s or bachelor’s degrees who want to derive value from AI more quickly, effectively, and consistently. Professionals who want to integrate AI into their daily work (decision-making, communication, and productivity), in both for-profit and nonprofit contexts.
This includes project and team managers, marketing and communications professionals, HR and recruitment professionals, consultants, policy advisors, finance and operations professionals, and young leaders.

Why this program
What makes this program unique?
- TIAS x JADS as the design team: a business school perspective combined with data science expertise in a single program, developed and delivered by experts from both fields.
- Interactive lectures with live demos: you’ll learn through explanations, examples, and demonstrations, and practice along the way on your own laptop.
- Widely accessible, immediately relevant: designed for professionals and executives in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, featuring relatable scenarios from various contexts.
- Focus on quality and responsibility: not just what AI can do, but especially how to apply it professionally within the reality of organizations.
- Compact and well-structured program: four sessions, one cohesive thread, one progression; you build understanding and skills step by step.
What will the program bring you?
You understand how generative AI works and what that means for the reliability of its output, so you can more quickly determine when you can and cannot use AI.
You'll develop strong prompting skills that will help you ask better questions, provide more targeted guidance, and achieve more consistent results.
You will learn to evaluate output for quality and risks, including bias, hallucinations, and privacy, and you will know which checks are necessary in your daily practice.
You’ll see practical applications for your daily work - such as writing, organizing, and analyzing - and you’ll be able to apply them to your role, team, and organization.
About this program
Get a handle on AI and learn fundamental AI skills for your daily work
In the Business AI Skills program (TIAS & JADS), you’ll learn - as a professional or manager - how to apply AI practically in your work: from crafting better prompts and conducting research with chatbots, through concrete tools and data analysis, to multimodal content (presentations/visuals), and the next step: agentic AI and low-code automation.
The program is hands-on: brief explanations, plenty of demos, and assignments you can immediately translate to your own context and apply in your daily practice. Consider:
- How to craft smart prompts
- How to develop AI-driven structural workflows around processes
- How AI can help make complex information more understandable and visually appealing for both internal and external clients
- How to configure your own AI assistant.
The program consists of four afternoons (12:30–4:30 p.m.), one afternoon per week. Each afternoon focuses on a single theme and consists of a concise explanation, demonstrations, and short exercises on your own laptop, followed by reflection and application to your work context.
What you need
- Willingness to work with free accounts and use your own email address for tools
