Introduction
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming how organizations create value. AI promises growth, innovation, and efficiency, but it also brings new risks in terms of reliability, ethics, data quality, and international laws and regulations. For board members, executives, and supervisory board members, AI is therefore no longer just an IT issue, but a strategic responsibility and priority.
Yet many boardrooms share the same sense of unease. While there is plenty of experimentation with AI, a shared vision and a clear strategy are lacking. Developments are unfolding at breakneck speed, while the central question too often remains unanswered: what is our organization aiming for?
The Advanced Program Artificial Intelligence in the Boardroom helps you answer that question. Over two intensive days, our experts will guide you from scattered signals to a coherent picture. You’ll learn to carefully weigh the value and risks of AI against each other, formulate your own vision and strategy, and ensure the right preconditions are in place: data governance, compliance, ethics, and your people’s AI skills. A technical background isn’t required. What is needed is the will to set a direction.
Participant profile
Are you an executive, board member, or supervisor looking to gain a firm grasp of what AI means for your organization? Then this Advanced Program was developed with you in mind. It is designed for experienced senior leaders in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors who want to understand AI at the level that matters most to them: its impact on strategy, business models, operations, leadership, and the competencies within the organization.
You don’t need a technical background. What matters is that you want to steer the use of AI and be able to independently weigh the trade-offs regarding value, risk, and responsibility.
Because decision-making regarding AI rarely rests with a single person, we encourage board members, executives, and management to participate together. This accelerates the application of what you learn to your own organization and increases your effectiveness.

Why this program
The Advanced Program Artificial Intelligence in the Boardroom prepares you for the strategic discussions about AI currently taking place in your organization. We translate the latest trends, academic insights, and real-world examples into practical tools. You will learn to accurately assess the value and risks of AI, ask the right questions of your organization and advisors, and chart a well-founded course.
In two days, you’ll gain what a few scattered lectures or a stack of articles can’t provide: a coherent framework, tested against your own practice, and the confidence to lead the conversation about AI at the board and executive levels with clarity.
What will the program bring you?
You will gain a deep understanding of the impact of AI on your organization, from strategy and business model to the leadership and competencies you need to have in place.
You will develop your own vision and strategy for the responsible use of AI as a driver of sustainable value creation.
You will learn to identify and manage the risks associated with AI applications, including ethical issues, data governance, and international laws and regulations.
You will gain tools for effective decision-making and governance, enabling you to lead discussions on AI within the executive board, board of directors, or supervisory board with clarity and authority.
