Most participants in the Advanced Leadership and Management Program are senior managers from the for-profit, non-profit and public sectors. They want to take the next step in their career and increase their self-knowledge and skillset in terms of leadership and management. On average, participants have 12 years of work experience, with an average of 6 years spent as managers.

Why this program
Organizations need leaders who can identify organizational and societal challenges and transform them into opportunities. Leaders are required to have the self-knowledge and skills to get others on board with the intended transition. TIAS’ Advanced Leadership and Management Program helps participants become aware of and enhance their interpersonal skills. They will also learn to link social developments to important organizational and strategic issues. This makes participants more effective as team leaders and managers and enables them to create long-term value.

About this program
The program consists of three modules, each lasting four days, divided into two-day blocks. This allows you to immediately apply what you have learned in your work. Theory, practice, and reflection alternate throughout the program. In a group with diverse perspectives, you will discuss your own case studies and work on your development as a leader.
The Advanced Leadership and Management Program consists of the following modules.
Personal and interpersonal leadership
Through a deep understanding of who you are and what drives you, we will actively shape and elevate your leadership. The first two days, we focus on how your identity is related to your way of leading, your strengths and your development points. The next two days, we focus on behavior, how you as a leader interact with others and how you are able to enhance these interactions.
Organizational leadership
Develop a holistic perspective on leadership, with a focus on managing both the softer and harder aspects of organizational leadership. In the first two days, we will explore sensitivities, emotions, and complex topics such as social and psychological safety, inclusion, and power, which often subtly influence interpersonal dynamics and relationships. In the following two days, we will focus on change management, combining theory with practice through a change simulation.
Strategic leadership
By improving both your knowledge and skills about the strategy process, we help you become a strategically proficient leader. The first two days, we teach you the ins & outs of the strategy process and train your skills in strategic influencing. The next two days, we immerse you in a strategy simulation where you learn the knowledge and practice about strategy formation by doing.
Modular and flexible
This program is modular and flexible, so that you can take parts separately and follow them in any order you want. You can start each module at a time that suits you.
