NSE 2022: TIAS highly rated by participants

Program participants once again awarded TIAS School for Business and Society high marks in the 2022 National Student Survey (NSE). The total score came to 4.16 out of 5.

Moreover, the business school scored significantly higher than the benchmark on nearly all components. Respondents even rated the lecturers’ subject knowledge a 4.47.

Survey respondents gave TIAS high marks in the following core areas: lecturer quality, engagement by TIAS and applicability of newly acquired knowledge to daily practice.

  • Inspiring nature of program: 4.22
  • Lecturer familiarity with professional practice: 4.39

“We want to enable our participants to get the best out of themselves at TIAS. By inspiring and challenging participants and letting them experiment, we teach them how to apply scientific knowledge and insights in practice. With their newly gained knowledge and skills, these leaders, managers and professionals can make an impact in their organization and its environment. We are proud to see that reflected in the survey results,” says Dean & Director Jenke ter Horst.

A total of 404 TIAS participants (including 12 Executive Masters, 3 MScBAs and the Full-time MBA) responded to the study.

National Student Survey (NSE)

The National Student Survey (NSE) was published on 31 May 2022. The NSS is a large-scale annual national study that invites higher education students to give their opinions on their education. The NSS survey by the Studiekeuze123 Foundation is an independent partnership between the Ministry of Education, Culture & Science, students and academia.
