Introduction
Shortages, both financial and in terms of staffing, while demand for care is increasing. This is one of the ‘wicked problems’ in healthcare that urgently requires a different approach. As a healthcare organization, how do you ensure that productivity increases while maintaining or even improving the quality of care and employee satisfaction? And how can organizations within the healthcare sector that do not provide care themselves contribute to the solution based on a better understanding of the operational challenges faced by healthcare organizations?
In the Advanced Program The (Healthcare) Organization as an Ecosystem, you will learn how to turn scarcity into new opportunities. These opportunities arise by viewing the healthcare organization as an ecosystem that can only achieve the highest level of operational efficiency by leveraging synergy.
Participation in this program means that you will complete one of the four modules of the TIAS Executive Master of Health Administration program in its entirety. You will learn and discuss at the master's level and work together with experienced managers, executives, and professionals from the healthcare sector who are enrolled in the full master's program.
Participant profile
Participants from healthcare and welfare providers want to gain a better understanding of how they can find opportunities within the synergy between organizational units to enable their organizations to perform sustainably in the future. Participants working for partners of healthcare organizations, such as health insurers, pharmaceutical organizations, suppliers, and government agencies, are looking for more insight into how they can fulfill their role more effectively in that synergy and contribute to the solution. You are a highly educated, ambitious manager, supervisor, or professional within the healthcare sector in the broadest sense of the word.

This structure creates an optimal learning environment and promotes high learning efficiency. From the joint online kick-off, each participant receives the necessary tools to engage in high-level discussions with each other during the lectures. This leads to valuable insights that help to deal strategically with the current complexity and dynamics.
Time investment and certificate
The program duration is five months: three two-day lecture blocks on location and two months of preparation for assessment. The study load is 12-15 hours per week.
