Registration and admission

Admission

Successful enrollment in our Full-time Master in Management is subject to a number of admission requirements. This is to maintain admissions quality. That way you can benefit from a high potential, motivated group of talented individuals to further enhance your learning experience.

  • At least a Bachelor's degree (Research University or University of Applied Sciences).
  • An average (GPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 7 out of 10, or an overall average of 80 from 100% (B on a scale of A to F).
  • You must take the TIAS Capacity Test (TCT – free, online test available in multiple languages) or the GMAT.
  • Proficiency in English, demonstrated by being a native English speaker or your bachelor program must have been taught fully in English.
  • If you are a non-native English speaker, you will need to achieve a result in one of the following English tests: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 90 or Cambridge C1 Advanced.
  • Work experience is not required for this master.
  • Depending on your bachelor background and test results, you may be required to attend all or one of the preparatory courses.

If you have any questions on any of the admission requirements above, please contact your program adviser for further consultation. Upon receipt of your application our Program Adviser will contact you to arrange an interview, and where applicable the TCT. Your interview will take place with a member of the Admissions Board.

Application deadline
We strongly advise you to submit your application as soon as you have made your decision. This will increase your chances of acceptance, particularly if you are an international student and will need to apply for a visa. Our VISA officer will assist you during the VISA application process. 

Preparatory courses
The preparatory courses are designed to bring you up to the required Full-Time Master in Management entry level. The recommended courses must be completed before the start of master. The program contains the following modules:

  1. Academic Writing Skills (600 euros)
  2. Basic Accounting and Finance (400 euros)
  3. Quantitative Methods (400 euros)

The fee per module includes access to our digital learning environment, digital course materials and teaching support during actual classes.

The actual pre-master study load is dependent on your level of academic ability. This will be assessed during your evaluation of your application, the Admissions Board will determine which preparatory courses are required.

Costs and financing

Full-time Master in Management/Business Administration (MScBA)

€28,500 for the entire master (exempt from VAT). 

This price includes:

  • International Learning Experience to Brussels (including the substantive program, travel & hotel)
     
  • Access to the online learning environment
  • Access to webinars and must-reads on the alumni website
  • Mandatory literature, study books and teaching materials
  • Application Fee (€100)*
  • Enrollment fee (€2000)** 

*The €100 non-refundable application fee is payable via our online application system
** Once you have been accepted into the Master in Management program, you must pay a non-refundable Enrollment fee of €2,000 to secure your place in the program.

Possible additional costs:

  • Preparatory courses, if necessary (€400 - €1400)**
  • Software licenses (if specific software is required)

** During your application, the Admissions and Assessment Committee will determine which Preparatory modules are required. 

Funding of your Master in Management
Pursuing a Master in Management is a serious commitment of time and money. It is an investment that needs to be carefully considered and planned for. However, we believe the TIAS Master in Management will be an investment in your future with an unbeatable cost-benefit ratio. Most of our students meet the cost of our Master in Management program through scholarships, savings, and student loans. Though the responsibility of funding the TIAS Master in Management lies with you, your Program Adviser will be happy to discuss your options. Scholarships
TIAS School for Business and Society understands the financial commitment of funding a Master in Management. Like you, we also know knowledge is power and great education is priceless. This is why we offer merit-based scholarships to qualified candidates to encourage a diverse and inclusive classroom. Most scholarships are essay-based and all essays should reflect your personal point of view expressed in your own words. The quality of the admission application will also be taken into consideration.

  • Mahmoud S. Rabbani Scholarship

How scholarship decisions are made
When making scholarship decisions, the TIAS admissions board reviews all application materials submitted by candidates and assesses each candidate's overall qualities: academic profile, strength of overall admissions application, quality of admissions interview, and employability.

Loan programs
Prodigy Finance 
Prodigy Finance’s innovative lending model offers community-funded loans to international students at the world’s top business schools, including TIAS Business School. The Master in Management loan is offered at an attractive interest rate and is available to candidates who have been accepted to the International Full-Time Master in Management program.

Lendwise - MBA Loans
Lendwise is a specialist loan provider based in the UK which is dedicated to education finance for individuals who are looking to fund their studies at world class universities.

Lendwise’s aim is to enable access to education through its affordable and flexible student loans that come with a fixed interest rate and no early repayment penalties.  Interest rates are personalised and depend on an applicant’s overall profile including future earning potential, and the application process is entirely online. Full time programme students have access to a grace period that allows for repayment to start after graduation.

Candidates applying for the Full-Time Master in Management and the Full-Time MBA are eligible to apply for a loan.  UK residents are eligible for a Lendwise Loan and other nationalities will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Fiderh

Deutsche Bildung Student Financing
Deutsche Bildung makes it possible for people to study: in addition to Bafög, as an alternative to loans, and regardless of social background. Deutsche Bildung offers monthly or lump-sum payments to allow students to fully concentrate on their studies. Furthermore, access to Deutsche Bildung Academy provides students with the skills to succeed in their studies and early careers. Repayment is based on income share agreements and used to finance a new generation of students. Applications are accepted all year round at www.deutsche-bildung.de

Tax deduction
International Full-Time Master in Management fees and study-related expenses may be tax deductible. Please contact the local authorities in your country for additional information. For Dutch participants additional information is available on the website of De Belastingdienst.
