Why this program
What makes the TIAS MHA unique?
- Modular structure offers maximum flexibility: do you want to complete the full master’s and graduate with an MSc, or start with one or more individual modules first? You choose the path that fits your situation. You also have flexibility in pace: follow modules consecutively or take a break in between when work or personal life demands it. This way, you can combine studying at master’s level in a way that truly works for you. You can start at multiple moments throughout the year.
- Blended learning with visible results: online preparation and intensive on-campus sessions in Utrecht reinforce each other. What you explore online, you bring to life in the classroom through cases, simulations, and peer feedback. The interaction between reflection and application accelerates both learning and impact in your organization.
- Strategic impact and personal leadership: the program focuses on strategy, implementation, and innovation in healthcare, always linked to challenges from your own practice. Personal coaching and targeted reflection lead to tangible behavioral change and faster, better-informed decision-making within your organization.
- A rich learning environment with diverse professionals and top faculty: in the MHA, you engage with peers from across the healthcare landscape, from providers and policymakers to professionals in the pharmaceutical industry and health insurers. These diverse backgrounds create a broad range of perspectives, showing how decisions in one domain affect another. TIAS faculty guide these dialogues with analytical depth and practical insight, continuously connecting theory and practice.
- Recognized quality, with a choice of two degrees: a fully NVAO-accredited program within an AACSB-accredited business school. You can graduate with either an MHA or an MSc, allowing your degree to clearly reflect your sector and ambitions.
