The use of the so-called starting price can more than halve the sale time of a property compared to a regular asking price. When a minimum price is used, the sale price is usually lower (on average 4.4 percent). This is the central message of the Koen Pillen’s thesis. With this thesis, he completed the Executive Master of Real Estate TIAS with honors in November 2014.
