AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business – has recently extended the accreditation of the management programs run by the TIAS School for Business and Society for a period of five years. As Tilburg University’s business school, TIAS has been awarded AACSB accreditation since 2012.
Following its re-accreditation, TIAS will continue to be part of the prestigious group of business schools that holds this most highly acclaimed international accreditation. This accreditation confirms that TIAS’s management programs and our research are of the highest international quality standards.
The AACSB accreditation visitation team was impressed by the way TIAS integrates ‘Business and Society’ into its strategy and programs,” says TIAS Dean and Director Jenke ter Horst. “They were particularly complimentary about the strong connection and affiliation of our faculty with the world of business and the non-profit sector. They were also very impressed with our focus on the quality of our program curricula to ensure strong alignment between theory and practice. Finally, AACSB gave very positive feedback about how TIAS innovates and develops learning and teaching tools and processes.”
The AACSB accreditation is the highest recognition that a business school can achieve. Jenke ter Horst: “It is a wonderful recognition of the quality we want to offer our participants and alumni each day. We support them in their personal and professional growth, in building a strong network and in creating an impact on business and society.”
The AACSB review took place in Spring 2022. Along with TIAS, the AACSB accreditation visitation team also visited TiSEM and extended TiSEM’s accreditation as well.
