About this TIAS Elevate Session
Experts predict that within five years, more than 90 percent of all digital content will be wholly or partially AI-generated. In a synthetic society, it may no longer be possible to distinguish what is real from what is not. The impact of this new reality on democracy, the legal system, the press, and personal relationships could be unprecedented.
This is just one of many fundamental shifts that AI is bound to bring about. While many organizations are currently shaping their AI strategies and implementation plans, they tend to focus primarily on what AI can do for them today. However, the world may look fundamentally different in five years. What work will humans still do ourselves, and what tasks will be taken over by AI? What will public administration look like in an AI-driven world, and will public duties be outsourced even further to Silicon Valley tech giants? How will personal relationships take shape, and to what extent will they be replaced by connections with chatbots and humanoid robots?
During this Elevate Session, we will explore these and other critical questions. The goal is to ensure that organizations pursue an AI transition aligned with the world of ten years from now, rather than the world of yesterday. This requires deeper reflection on what makes us human, how AI will reshape society, and what the role of organizations will be in this rapidly changing world.
