Introduction
The playing field for libraries will change dramatically in the coming years. The upcoming amendments to the Public Library Services Act (Wsob) present both opportunities and challenges. This four-day master class offers professionals in the library sector insights to make the right choices for a robust future.
The program was developed by TIAS School for Business and Society in collaboration with Cubiss and BiSC, the Provincial Support Institutions (POI) for North Brabant, Limburg, and Utrecht. Leading professors and experts from the field will address relevant and current topics and offer practical tools for your organization.

The master class is specifically designed for professionals working in libraries and multi-functional organizations (MFOs) who want to play an active role in further developing a robust library.
Why this program
The program is tailored to current events in the library sector related to the amendment of the Library Act (Wsob). You will work on your own strategic objectives and those of other participants, allowing you to learn a great deal from each other.

About this program
In the mornings, we'll provide you with the theoretical and scientific frameworks to thoroughly develop a robust library. In the afternoons, the focus will be on translating theory into practice.
Guest speakers from both within and outside the sector will share their best practices and offer tools for working towards a robust future in various ways. We'll work together in the afternoon through panel discussions, a field trip, and case studies. Naturally, the TIAS instructor will be present all day. This combination of theory and practice, from various perspectives, ensures that you optimize your strategic actions within the revised Wsob (Financial Services Act) in four days.
