Introduction
You know that culture drives behavior and that harmful behaviors impact the motivation, attitude, and conduct of other employees. The idea that the success of your organizational strategy depends on the company culture likely doesn't sound unfamiliar to you either. But how do you actually achieve an effective cultural change to help your organization realize its strategic goals?
This lecture series is a collaboration between TIAS School for Business and Society and HR Academy.
Participant profile
This program is designed for HR professionals, managers, change agents, and organizational consultants who aim to initiate or guide cultural change within their organization. Participants hold strategic or advisory roles and are seeking practical insights, scientific foundations, and concrete tools to effectively influence and manage behavior and culture in alignment with organizational objectives.

Why this program
Do you want to be able to make a solid diagnosis of the behavior and culture within your organization and gain insights into how to address them? Would you like to better understand the risks of disconnecting culture from (strategic) change?
And do you want to learn how to use language and interaction patterns to turn friction and resistance to your advantage?
What will the program bring you?
Deepen your understanding of behavior and culture: Identify common behavioral challenges within organizations and uncover the underlying cultural patterns that drive them.
Learn how to lead cultural change: Practice leadership approaches that enable culture transformation, and understand why psychological safety is essential for success.
Gain control over behavior change: Develop effective strategies and interventions to consciously influence behavior within teams and across the organization.
Strengthen your role as an HR professional: Receive practical tools to improve the working climate and create lasting movement within teams.
About this program
In seven interactive sessions, you will develop a sharp, practical perspective on organizational culture and behavior. You will explore how culture shows up in everyday behavior and decision-making, how to align strategy and culture, and which interventions truly make a difference within teams and across the organization.
You will work with insights on learning culture, leadership, and psychological safety, and translate these directly into your own practice, including through a simulation game based on realistic change challenges. The full program structure and detailed content for each session can be found on the Sijthoff Media website.
