"The key is learning how to balance those conflicting interests, how to navigate with people from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and personalities towards effective decision-making and long-term value creation. Learning to recognize and deal with those boardroom dynamics, that is what we focus on in the programs at TIAS."

Prof. dr. Mijntje Lückerath is a financial economist and organizational psychologist, and a professor of Corporate Governance at TIAS School for Business and Society. She serves as a commissioner at NRC Media, Erasmus MC, and Diergaarde Blijdorp. Since 2007, her research and teaching within Corporate Governance have focused on long-term value creation, boardroom dynamics, and diversity. At TIAS, Mijntje is involved as an Academic Director in various programs, such as the Prospective Supervisory Board Member Program, the Commissioner and Supervisor Program and the Women Corporate Directors Program. She also teaches in other executive education programs at TIAS.

Prof. Dr. Mijntje Lückerath is a professor of Corporate Governance. Her research focuses on the role of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board and corporate governance, particularly with regard to long-term value creation and boardroom dynamics (including our biases, independence, evaluation, transparency, and diversity).
