Biography

Rawy van den Beucken joined KPMG in 2000. Over the years he managed various IT audits for international clients, with large scale complex IT environments. In addition throughout his career he advised both small and large scale organizations (both in The Netherlands as abroad) on a variety of IT topics, mainly in the area of risks and controls. 

Some of his focus areas are Integrated Audits (SOx), Internal Control Frameworks in general and specifically in the area of Human Resource Management. 

Currently he plays a key role in KPMG’s professional practice and risk management processes. He focuses on improving IT audit quality, translating complex external and internal regulations into practical guidance for client facing IT audit teams, and performing file reviews as part of KPMG’s international quality performance program.

Rawy has been involved in the Executive Master of IT Auditing program since 2012 as a lecturer. He teaches fundamental aspects of the IT audit profession, like risk analysis and audit documentation, and is involved in the examination of the program.
