We're looking for a student assistant to join our four-person HR team starting mid-January. You'll have a versatile, administrative role supporting daily HR tasks. You'll be a key member of the team and will have the opportunity to learn, contribute ideas, and take initiative.

As a student HR assistant, you'll support the HR team with a variety of administrative and organizational tasks. You enjoy organizing things effectively and maintaining an overview.

Tasks include:

  • Performing administrative tasks related to the onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding of employees;

  • Maintaining and updating (digital) HR documents and personnel files;

  • Providing administrative support during recruitment and selection procedures;

  • Helping to manage the HR mailbox and acting as a first point of contact for general HR inquiries;

  • Collecting, organizing, and processing HR data, and preparing overviews and reports;

  • Supporting the HR team with various operational and ad-hoc tasks;

  • Do you see opportunities for process improvements, or is there something you would like to learn or take on? We are certainly open to that and happy to think along with you.

Desired profile

We are looking for a student pursuing an HR degree at either a university or university level who would like to get a firsthand look at the inner workings of an HR team. You are honest, accurate, and structured, and a go-getter. You are able to work independently but will seek collaboration when necessary. Finally, you have excellent written and spoken Dutch and English.

Your working days will be arranged in consultation, but availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays is preferred.

What we offer:

  • A fun and varied position and the opportunity to learn and develop within a professional work environment and friendly team;

  • A contract for 12 hours per week with a salary of €17.18 per hour;

  • In addition, you will build up holiday pay (8%) and a fixed end-of-year bonus (9.3%) and you will receive a travel allowance;

  • 27 days of vacation and a maximum of 6 additional collective days off (based on a 40-hour per week contract);

  • Affiliation with our pension fund (with approximately 70% employer contribution);

  • An easily accessible working environment on the Tilburg University campus.
