Webinar: The effects of the housing market reform
April 28, 2012
What does the future hold for our sacred homes now that the negotiations held at the Dutch prime minister's official residence have failed? Our housing market has come to a standstill and is hampering our economy. The liberalisation of housing corporation rental and the limitation of mortgage interest tax deductions is being discussed more and more openly. After decades of overdue maintenance, it would appear that our housing market really is going to be reformed.
But how, why, and with what consequences? Dirk Brounen (TIAS School for Business and Society) will discuss this with Peter Boelhouwer (TU Delft) and Taco van Hoek (the Economic Institute for Housing and Construction (EIB)).
